PAST CONJUNCTIVE TENSE

                   PAST CONJUNCTIVE TENSE
DEFINITION:-
                      Such verb, which denotes that after completing first an action the subject did second in past time that is called past conjunctive tense.
NOTE:- (1)
                  This tense has two main verbs first ends and second starts but in past time.
EXAMPLE:-
(i)                          Having closed a shop, Kamran went to the university.
NOTE:- (2)
                “Having” is the helping verb to this tense which is followed by all the subjects.
NOTE:- (3)
                  These type of sentences have two parts in the beginning part (Having part) third form of the verb is used in the second part of the sentence, second form is used.

Having drunk, she repented.
Having drunk, it repented.
Having drunk, they repented.

ASSERTIVE
(1)            Having talked to you, I repented.
(2)            Having gone to the hospital, the doctor visited the patient.
(3)            Having got admission in the university, Safia worked hard.

INTERROGATIVE
(1)            Having talked to you, did I repent?
(2)            Having gone to the hospital, did the doctor visit the patient?
(3)            Having got admission in the university, did Safia work hard?

NEGATIVE
(1)            Having talked to you, I didn’t repent.
(2)            Having gone to the hospital, the doctor didn’t visit the patient.
(3)            Having got admission in the university, Safia didn’t work hard.

INT & NEG
(1)            Having talked to you, did I repent?
(2)            Having gone to the hospital, did the doctor not visit the patient?
(3)            Having got admission in the university, did Safia not work hard?

EMPHATIC
(1)            Having talked to you, I did repent.
(2)            Having gone to the hospital, the doctor did visit the patient.
(3)            Having got admission in the university, Safia did work hard.

MODEL SENTENCES
(1)            Having got admission in the center, did you not work hard?
(2)            Having made tea, Safia served her friends.
(3)            Having gone to MOEN- JO –DARO, we visited the ruins of it.
(4)            Having turned on an air conditioner, Saira took rest.
(5)            Having auctioned field, did Nadeem buy a bungalow?
(6)            Having sold the motor bike, I repented too much.

(7)            Having saved the time, he came to me.
