PAST CONTINUOUS TENSE

                           PAST CONTINUOUS TENSE  
DEFINITION:-
                        Such verb, which modifies that the subject started some work in past time and it was also continued in the same time that is called past perfect continuous tense.
NOTE:- (1)
                    This tense shows the continuity of an action from past to past.
EXAMPLE:-
(1)            Students had been making a noise in the class.
(2)            The post man had been bringing letters.
NOTE:- (2)
                 “Had been” is the helping verb to this tense.
NOTE:- (3)
                  “Ing” form of the verb is used in this tense.

(1)            You had been blaming me.
(2)            I had been awaking.
(3)            He had been accounting.

INTERROGATIVE
(1)            Had you been blaming me?
(2)            Had I been awaking?
(3)            Had he been accounting?

NEGATIVE
(1)            You had not been blaming me.
(2)            I had not been awaking.
(3)            He had not been accounting.

INT & NEG
(1)            Had you not been blaming me?
(2)            Had I not been awaking?
(3)            Had he not been accounting?
